Description
A fun and colorful treat made with Lucky Charms cereal and marshmallows.
Ingredients
Scale
- 5 cups lucky charms cereal
- 1 (10-ounce) package mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons butter
- as needed cooking spray
- 1 cup lucky charms colorful marshmallows
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter to a large nonstick pot or Dutch oven over medium heat; then add the marshmallows and stir until melted. (I like to spray my spoon with a little cooking spray so that the marshmallow doesn’t stick.)
- Once the marshmallows have melted, remove the pot from the heat and add the Lucky Charms cereal; mix well until blended.
- Separate an additional 1 cup of the Lucky Charms cereal colorful marshmallows and set aside.
- Line an 11×9-inch pan with parchment paper and transfer the mixture to the pan; using the spoon to spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the colored marshmallows on top and press down with your hands.
- Allow to cool completely either at room temperature; then cut into 16 squares.
Notes
- Be careful not to overheat the marshmallows when melting.
- These can be stored in an airtight container for several days.
