Description

Deliciously crispy mozzarella cheese with pepperoni, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded (whole-milk melts better)
  • 8 slices pepperoni, regular or turkey
  • pinch Italian seasoning, garlic powder or red pepper flakes, optional
  • pizza sauce, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400. Line baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Add mozzarella cheese in round mounds on the parchment paper. Place 1 pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  3. Place tray in oven to bake for 10 minutes. The cheese will crisp around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle with seasoning if desired. Serve with pizza sauce for dunking.

Notes

  • Whole-milk mozzarella provides better melting and flavor.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning based on your preference.
