Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 16 ounces Whole White Mushrooms
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream (33%)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano (dry ground)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Ground Black Pepper
  • to taste Fresh Chopped Parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce 16 ounces of whole white mushrooms, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  4. Stir in 4 ounces of cream cheese and allow it to melt with the mushrooms.
  5. Pour in ½ cup of heavy cream and sprinkle in ½ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese, stirring well.
  6. Season with 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
