Description

Learn how to create a beautiful flower arrangement using fresh ranunculus flowers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh ranunculus flowers
  • 1 clean vase
  • 1 pair of sharp scissors or floral shears
  • Lukewarm water
  • Optional: flower food

Instructions

  1. Gently remove any leaves that will sit below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
  2. Cut each stem at a 45-degree angle to increase water absorption.
  3. Fill the vase with lukewarm water and add flower food if available.
  4. Place taller stems in the center and work your way outwards with shorter ones for a balanced look.
  5. Turn the vase as you work to ensure a good appearance from all angles.
  6. Keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight as ranunculus last longer in cooler temperatures.
  7. Change the water every two days and re-cut the stems to prolong their life.
  8. Remove any wilted flowers to keep the arrangement fresh.

Notes

  • Ranunculus flowers thrive better in cool environments.
  • Regular maintenance of water and stem cutting can extend the life of the arrangement.
