Description

A delicious homemade pizza recipe with a perfect crust and flavorful toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 recipe homemade pizza dough
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ⅔ cup pizza sauce
  • to taste Italian seasoning or ground basil
  • to taste Garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6065 slices beef pepperoni
  • ½ cup yellow cornmeal
  • Extra mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the homemade pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet dusted with yellow cornmeal.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning or ground basil and garlic powder over the sauce.
  6. Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  7. Layer the beef pepperoni evenly across the cheese.
  8. Add extra mozzarella cheese as desired.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
