Description

This cheesy ranch dip is quick to make and perfect for parties!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 oz) container of sour cream
  • 1 (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes (or other brand of diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained)
  • 3 tablespoons dried ranch dressing powder (or 1 packet of dressing mix)
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning (or 1 packet of seasoning mix)
  • 1 (8 oz) package of shredded cheddar cheese (about 2 cups)
  • 23 green onions (thinly sliced, both white and green parts)
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Add the sour cream and the drained canned tomatoes to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the ranch powder, taco seasoning, and cheese. Stir everything together until well combined.
  3. Add half the green onions to the bowl and stir them in.
  4. Scrape the dip into your serving dish and sprinkle the remaining onions over the top.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes to let the flavors mingle.
  6. This dip can be made ahead up to 24 hours in advance and kept in a covered dish in the fridge.
