Description
This cheesy ranch dip is quick to make and perfect for parties!
Ingredients

- 1 (16 oz) container of sour cream
- 1 (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes (or other brand of diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained)
- 3 tablespoons dried ranch dressing powder (or 1 packet of dressing mix)
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning (or 1 packet of seasoning mix)
- 1 (8 oz) package of shredded cheddar cheese (about 2 cups)
- 2 – 3 green onions (thinly sliced, both white and green parts)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Add the sour cream and the drained canned tomatoes to a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the ranch powder, taco seasoning, and cheese. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Add half the green onions to the bowl and stir them in.
- Scrape the dip into your serving dish and sprinkle the remaining onions over the top.
- Chill for 30 minutes to let the flavors mingle.
- This dip can be made ahead up to 24 hours in advance and kept in a covered dish in the fridge.
Notes
- This dip is great served with tortilla chips for a crunchy contrast.
