Description

This moist and delicious banana almond bread is perfect for breakfast or a snack!


Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line a bread pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until they are a paste. Stir in the eggs until they are fully combined. Then add the vanilla extract and honey. Stir till fully combined.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together the almond flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir just until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Place the bread pan in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center of the bread clean.
  8. Allow bread to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • This bread is best enjoyed fresh, but it can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor!
